This was a gamble but Ghost had nothing to loose. In a time like this risks were needed. The brute looked around, one last hope for his Alpha and Alphess to come but he saw no one. A fleeting thought that they'd been hurt brushed his mind but he filed it away. No he would not allow himself to think that, not now. Looking back at Iago he was glad to see the other wolf doing his part. In a relieved voice he said with a grateful smile as the newcomer assisted, "Thanks." Surprise flickered across his visage at the other male's display of powers but for the moment he said nothing, not wanting to disturb him.
As his eyes flicked to the ice entwined around his leg the rim surrounding the pupils began to glow a soft white. The ice began to break and crack into pieces and hovered in the air through sheer force of will. One by one he steered them towards the earth around them, stabbing them into the ground in the beginnings of a shelter. He focused his attention on the ice that was growing larger and larger around Lenalee. As he whispered words that were lost over the noise of cracking ice Ghost's pelt seemed to turn lighter as he continued to do this and his warm eyes grew cold, hues of silver and green becoming more pronounced so the natural blue was covered. It was like another otherworldly entity, unforgiving, piercing and with a heart of ice had taken residence.
The ice around Lenalee shattered into pieces but each piece remained suspended in mid-air like a panorama. With a flick of his paw chunks began to cut through the air with deadly accuracy, joining the other pieces and starting to form a massive igloo of ice around them at rapid speed. With the ice that was continuing to crawl up both his legs now he endured it and added any ice to the growing structure that was getting too close the others, making sure the others were safe from its deathly grip. He continued to do this, concern softening his eyes as they fell on the two healers.

Reiko
Positioning herself for her turn in the tactic, arched back greeted the sky, lowered head introduced a fifth lighting transfer rod to the ground. Shadows swarmed her pelt, anticipating the power of her Father's gift, usually trying to fight each other for dominance over her body they worked synchronizing to keep her body equalized. She closed her dark hazel eyes, waiting for Kerrigon's serge of thunder to jolt into her.
She felt the sudden power rise as the bolts ran through her veins, she re opened her eyes as they turned a black color, rimed with glowing white, intensified with electricity. She raised her shadow tail to the air in an attempt to collect every drop of thunder as a lightning rod. She kept it's power for a while, letting it mingle with her own power, then as quickly as she absorbed it, her scruff rose in pricks and long thick jolts of electricity ran along the floor like roots from her feet. They glowed in white as their color was blackened, fires alit as they stretched out. "Allure! It is your turn!" She shouted in encouragement. She stood once more, shadowed fur shrouded in black static that was too weak to let loose.
Aurora
Hearing the chorus of her family following her own, she felt proud as a mother with her children. She forgot the lingering pain in her leg, and stood proudly along them. Her eyes glowed with a warm blue tone. She saw that it wasn't enough, they needed more, her song slowed down as she figured Soul just might not come.. "..." She summoned a larger wind, a large white plume of air that contrasted against the giant gray beast. The air mingled with each other, her eyes alit with joy as she saw it's form shrink little. 'Did we actually do it?' In her mind, a little disbelief was set free, she didn't want her pack to know she was surprised. Although it was not over just yet, and Aura knew that...

Ronin[/u][/b] The grey wolf stood strong as it continued to approach. He summoned up a wind that was dark-colored, almost as dark as the swirling storm itself, and bended it so it created a wall i which the twister slammed into it, continuing it's shrink. they were so close, yet so far. He gritted his teeth and tried to pour more energy int it.

Allure
Crimson orbs shifted to the disappearing Kar, her crown tilting curiously. A rounded cage of bone rose and fell in a heft sigh as she longed to join in his games. She knew she was needed to assist the rest of the pack, or at least they thought they needed her. Allure feared if she were to come out of these antics alive it would be as a fried wolfess. Auds perked as she was informed it was her time. Her time for what? She had no idea what she was capable of if anything for that matter. After what seemed like an eternity of contemplation, watching the two directing the lightening, dark lids clamped shut as the raven fae entered a state of concentration.
Butterfiles tickled her heavily beating heart teasingly as a memory of not long ago flooded her mind. Perhaps that lava wasn't taunting, but beckoning? As her mind fluttered through her past experiences the flames dancing along the earth between Allure and the painted fae piroutted their way up limbs matching them in color. Unaware of what was happening the flames serpentined along Allure's ebony pelt until the last straggelers had engulfed the black beauty.
Slender limbs pushed forward as her balance was stabalized in preparation, hinds widened and a flowing plume flipped over her spine demanding submission from the flickering devils encompassing her being. Shades snapped open, laval pools circling within her oculars as a mini explosion occured over her lithe body. A coat of flames danced over her length in an evilly enticing way.

The Fire Lord surfaced from his near-trance for a moment, checking on the status of his pack members. Kar was no where to be found, but then, judging from the scurrying shadows that crawled across his paws with enchanted life, the dark wolf was not far. Reiko was a blaze of static, filled with the electricity he had passed to her.
“Allure! It is your turn!” At last, his glowing orbs focused on Allure at the end of the line. Pray nothing happens to her. If it should, he would never forgive himself. Advice for the ebony fatale leapt to his tongue, but he bit back his words. It appeared she was concentrating, and he did not wish to ruin her train of thought. Limbs tensed, jaw clenched, he watched her with fiery intensity. Until… a brilliant inferno swallowed her, dancing across her frame harmlessly. “Excellent!” His enthusiasm made crimson sparks leap from his person into the air. “You can bend them to your fire, or transfer them anyway you like. The fire belongs to you.” Still, he kept a keen eye on her. It was amazing she could call on her power so quickly, under such trying circumstances. Kerrigon was impressed. But their task was not over yet.

Allure had miraculously managed to gather the loose flames captured from the storm itself, without feeling or knowledge of what was truly happening to her physique. Auds swiveled towards the baritone voice of her leader, “You can bend them to your fire, or transfer them anyway you like. The fire belongs to you.” A pair of furry brows dipped curiously, wrinkles meticulously etching themselves within her canvas. The question of what Kerrigon was speaking of entered the forefront of her mind, her concentration depleted rapidly. Oculars slipped to the corners of her almond sockets before rounding in surprise as the flames came into focus. Panic engulfed her having never experienced such an occurrence. As if her entire being combusted a cloud of flames attacked the earth and spread searing what they could in their path. All natural debris resting upon the earth was devoured in their rage. The core of the inferno fell to the dust mulch below, her ebony body heaving for oxygen, smoke trailing from her silence.

The shadows were of no use to the painted brute as the explosion of flames hunted him with the speed of light. One moment Kamau was watching the group of elementals in amazement, large auds perked and orbs rounded in amazement. The very next he found his puzzled pelt had been transformed into a flickering crimson. For the first time since he was a very young pup a sharp yelp escaped the brute as the extraordinary heat engulfed him. Long limbs dashed backward in a frenzied panic, slamming himself into tree after tree offering the flames additional victims.

Kar
Behind his illusions the warrior's attention was captured by the flames that Allure had summoned and by the wolfess herself. He had to give her credit. It was a spectacular feat. Well until she lost control. The darkness was hurtling back though at frightening speed as if it wasn't controlled anymore. It didn't stop, consuming the very light the fire was giving, quickly swamping the area in black. It was like water had doused the flames' brightness somewhat. A form appeared near Allure in the shape of Kar but this version was bigger, with wisps of darkness curling from its form like a shaggy mane. It was demonic in its stature and demeanor, jagged fur that couldn't be touched, ghoulish tendrils of darkness spreading and a form that a paw could swipe through as easily as air itself. The flames didn't bother him, this devil of the night for he had no earthly flesh, no bones, no organs to touch.
As it composed itself a pair of eyes opened but the pupils were gone, leaving only a sheet of ice blue. Kar's voice carried over to Allure's ears in a whisper that seemed to come from the night itself, playful and teasing, such was his method of comfort and encouragement."Come on you can do better than this can't you?" As quick as the blackness returned it began to fade away again seemingly having regained its servitude to its master of darkness but the ghastly version of Kar remained next to Allure, silently offering its support to the Beta wolfess. It licked her maw, nudging her with its phantom touch repeatedly. "Kerrigon, she needs your help," His voice carried over to the Fire Lord and if one listened closely they could hear the concern underlying it. A shift in the darkness at the base of his ears, an indistinct change signalled them pivoting towards the other brute crashing around but his attention was focused on his pack.

Fae
Fae had never really used her powers to her full potential. For parlour tricks and passing time perhaps but seriously pursuing the art of being an air elemental? Never really crossed her mind as she had been concentrating on her healing duties. It amazed her to see the others display such power in theirs. She raised her gaze to the monster, her gold and eyes starting to carry a similiar glow to the others. Cancel out the winds... Facing the grey monster a burst of joy escaped her in a yelp as she saw the twister shrink somewhat. She was sure it had! Elated and fueled by this she concentrated, contributing her powers to the group. She started to take out slithers of wind like a child deconstructing a building out of blocks by removing one block at a time. In this case she was taking slices of wind, flinging it to the wall Ronin had created. She wanted to find Soul though because in her gut she had a terrible feeling that something might have happened to him. He would have come by now and the fact that he didn't was a bad omen indeed. Maybe now that the twister was being controlled somewhat she could go.

Hearing the other painted's cry of pain, Reiko jumped to it. She ran after him at blinding speed. It was too late to save some trees that engulfed into flames, but she had to stop him from burning to death or even sending the whole forest into flames. She tackled him, and they both rolled into the dirt. She knocked her head hard onto a tree stump, and lost consciousness for a moment. Her body felt liek it was turning and flying, she jolted up thinking the tornado sucked her up.
Feeling the hard ground again, a long sigh escaped her maw, she looked over to Kamau and said in a soft worry tone. "Are you okay?"

Tyree The familiar figure walked slowly, one foot shufffling after the other in a slow, rythemic motion. As the wind brushed the dust around her away, her identity was revealed. Tyree, former earth pack master, who had been among the missing wolves after the disaster. Even at her prime, her weakened state deterred her, and her greif over Sasha, her cherished dog-freind. She looked up, as the storm poured it's wrath all around the area, laying waste to everything nearby. Of the wolves that stood before her, she could only recognize one completely. Watersinger. She could just make out the familiar wolf poking her head out of a small hide-out sort of place. Suddenly, her legs gave way, and she collapsed to the ground, her beautiful tan and brown fur covered in a thin layer of dust and dirt.

Horror engulfed him as the fire surrounding Allure surged out of control. “ Kerrigon, she needs your help.” He did not pause to think, only act. In the span of a few leaps, he was within the inferno, beside Allure. Burning eyes locked upon those of Kar’s changed form, and he placed his paws upon the black beauty, willing her fire to come to him. Slow at first, though gathering speed, the flames traveled from her frame to the Alpha. An expression of upmost concentration twisted his features, mingling with pain. The fire, and the electricity from the storm, it was going to be too much, but he could not abandon Allure to the ravages of her power, the power he had commanded her to use that he had not trained her for. And then finally…. It was over.
The Fire Lord staggered away from Allure, into the rogue flames eating the grass. Their heat did not affect him, and even though his eyes were trained toward Kar and Allure, they were unfocused, slack. The scarlet sparks still danced on his frame, and his own fire lingered at his paws, but something seemed amiss, as though a growing shadow lurked beneath the heat.

A still form remained silent, unaware of the dire situation unfurling all around her. Only a short moment as the last flame was channeled from her being ebony curtains snapped open revealing widened orbs, pupils dilated as the earth's light, no matter how dim, attacked. Fiery irises slid to the closest presence, the reassuring sight of Kar calmed her features, her plume lazily sweeping the charred earth below in appreciation.
Suddenly reality hit her, as if she had run into a wall built of stone. Auds threw themselves upward, the simple gut wrenching feeling that something was wrong pierced the fae repeatedly urging her to rise. Shakily her leanly muscled body rose to it's full height, wobbling slightly as the joints within her limbs locked attempting to steady her. A feminine skull slowly twisted to view the happening behind her as the cackling of flame invaded her senses. Surprised her crown tilted sideways, brows raising skyward allowing the red aura free access to her canvas. It was strange and unnerving to see such a powerful brute in such a state as Kerrigon. The distance between her and the alpha was closed by lengthy strides. Her mind was unsure of what to do, except for follow instincts. Her moist digit touched his, crimson pools locking onto the brutes as they urged him to stay focused, to stay with her silently. Dainty paws rest lightly upon his own front appendages in an attempt to offer the flames, and the pain a second host...an opportunity to spread and lessen the torment it was ravaging on the king of fire.

Sensing something was wrong with the fire lord, Reiko jolted into a standing position. She didn't want to leave the unconscious male there, but he seemed safe now that Kerrigon took the flames away. She licked him on the cheek once in an attempt to wake him. She saw nothing and relentlessly went to her king's side. She couldn't completely tell what was wrong, but her heart ached for him. His eyes seemed empty and unfocused, it made her uneasy. She saw Allure trying to regain his attention as well, in an attempt to help, she stretched out her tongue and licked his muzzle in an attempt to snap him out of it. "Kerrigon, we need you." She pleaded as her ears folded back. For once she didn't like him for his power, but actually felt a connection towards Kerrigon as her eyes filled with anxiety.
"Allure, if you can... You need to do this on your own again..." She encouraged her rival. No matter how much she despised Allure, she wanted to work together again. She turned to her resting on Kerrigon's front paws.

It was as if his very body systems had decided to rebel. His heart, beating too fast, too staggered, in an impossible space. His skin crawled, itched. Each breath felt like to took a lifetime to complete, the scents and sounds of the world too quick to process. Tremors began to shake his frame, but he was not aware of them. But there was something before him. He willed his vision to focus, making out the blurred shape of Allure. And beside her… Reiko. He shut his flame-drenched eyes, and re-opened them, willing the world to stop shaking, for their words to make sense, but to no avail. The heat within him was rising, he could feel it, a fire burning from inside to out. A whimper escaped his throat, a pathetically small sound. The elements were too much. Releasing the power might kill him, but keeping it certainly would.
Wordlessly, he took a staggered step back from the tsarinas on trembling limbs. With an unearthly cry of pain, the outline of his form blurred in an explosion of fire and electricity. The brute knew not where his body ended, if it did indeed still exist. For what felt like eternity, but what was actually only a few brief seconds, the crimson poured out of him into the world seeming to take all of him that it could with it. And then, it was over. The Alpha blearily opened his eyes, unable to comprehend why the world was sideways; he could not feel the soil beneath his side. A profound sense of defeat overtook him; he had failed his pack. Pray to the gods, let them live through my mistake… With a final shudder of sparks, as though he were already having a nightmare Kerrigon fell into unconsciousness.
